Birdie is a biracial, bisexual woman from sunny Los Angeles, living in Chicago to learn how to be an art therapist. She’s been an artist since birth, and she’s been making fanart and fanfiction ever since she found out what fandom was. Sparks Fly is Birdie’s first completed original work, and she is unashamed to say that it’s her favorite book she’s ever read. When she’s not obsessing over fictional characters—a full time job, to be sure—you’d be likely to find her snuggling with her spouse and their pug, taking roleplaying too seriously in her D&D campaigns, or baking a killer batch of cupcakes.
